What can you expect as a patient? A thorough comprehensive eye examination at Family Vision Care in Bethalto consists of several steps. A detailed case history of the eye health, and ocular neurological testing are integral parts of the exam. A refraction is done to determine your spectacle prescription, and visual field (peripheral vision) testing, glaucoma testing and dilation of the pupils to examine the internal health of the eye are also important parts of a comprehensive eye exam.
